Hi – welcome back. In this article, we are going to dive into the second step of uncovering and living your Passion + Purpose = World Change formula.

Step 2 is such an important step to dig deeper into your own self-discovery journey to help you get to where you want to go. While I am your Teen Mentor online – I do encourage you to find other mentors who can support you on this journey – we will go into that more in upcoming articles, but for now – find some uplifting and inspiring people who can support you on this part and all parts of your journey.
I am going to break Step 2 into different parts.
In this article, let’s have some fun together. In my book, “Falling In Love with Me: A Personal Journey and A Guide to Falling in Love with You” – I wrote it with my character Tinkerangel, www.tinkerangel.com, which is really just a representation of who I am.
A friend of mine gave me that name. She said, “Marcy you are like a fairy that goes around sprinkling happy dust on people to help them on their journey and then you are also like an angel who wraps your wings around people to support them.”
Wow, I thought that was an accurate description of who I am and what I love to do. I like to be my Tinkerangel as much as possible because it helps me dream bigger, live my own passion and purpose in such a more expansive way, and also it is more fun.
What I invite you to do now is to think about what your character is and feel into all the qualities of your character including what you already have within you and what you want to possess more of to help you discover and do what you love and make the difference you are here to make in the world.
Let’s go…
Who is your character? Does your character have a name? You may find your character name comes to you after you have completed the other questions, so feel free to come back to this.
Your character can be made up, be a movie character, a character in a book, a famous person, a superhero or whatever you want it to be.
Do you have a nickname that others have given you that could be a character? This character is really an embodiment of who you are and wish to be/want to have the courage to be. Don’t forget to have fun with this and dream .
Describe the qualities of your character – courageous, adventurous, kind, generous, etc.
When is your character the happiest?
What does your character enjoy doing?
Type of work?
Type of play?
Creativity?
Other – Helping others, adventures?
What dreams does your character have?
What dreams does your character have for the world?
What does your character’s perfect world look like?
What can you do to help contribute to making this perfect world? Along with this, summarize your findings from above.
Does your character have any superpowers? If so, what do they do? Do the superpowers help solve any issues at your work, your community, the world, in your own life, in other people’s lives who are close to you? If so, what would the world look like if you solved these problems with your superpowers?
Think about yourself through your character’s eyes for these questions:
What kind of legacy do you want to leave on this earth/what is the difference in the world that you want to be remembered by?
If today were your last day on earth, what could you say were your proudest moments, both in your career and your life?
If today were your last day on earth, could you say that you accomplished all that you wanted to accomplish? What else is there to accomplish?
What issues within your work, your community, or world would you like to solve?
