What Are Some Fun and Free Dating Ideas? By Rachel Russo

Question: What are some fun and free dating ideas? I live in a really small town and there’s not too much to do except go out to eat. Do you have any ideas or advice for doing different things that don’t cost a lot of money?

Answer: Fun dating ideas often involve food, but don’t worry, you don’t have to go to an expensive dinner. Just going out for ice-cream/fro yo or grabbing a coffee together can make for a good time. Instead of dinner and a movie, you get an inexpensive breakfast and/or go see a matinee.

If you get to know each other better, you can cook or watch a movie at home, but in the meantime: get active. Go for a walk in the park, hang out at the beach, go for a hike through the woods, or take a yoga class together. You can go window shopping, play pool or mini golf, or even go bowling.

Also, check your local newspapers for free events–like town festivals, flea markets, lectures, book signings, etc.
