Is It OK to Date Someone Who’s Nice and Hope to Love Them Back? By Rachel Russo

Question: Is it okay to date someone that’s really nice and loves you and hope to love him back as time goes by?

Answer: We all have to be careful when it comes to matters of the heart. The phrase “give your heart” can lead us down a painful path if the person we are giving it to does not return the love.

That being said, it is not abnormal for one person to fall before the other. The fact that you’re asking this question shows that you do not want to hurt this guy.

As long as your intentions stay pure-and you are not aware of a block that would prevent you from being able to love him back – it is totally okay to hang in there and see if your feelings develop.

Love is a gamble, but if you are honest with yourself-and your partner – it is a risk that is usually worth taking.
