How Do I Choose Between Two Boys? By Rachel Russo

Question: How Do I Choose Between Two Boys? I’m 17 and have two guys I really like a lot. One is an older friend who I know always liked me and whose been a great friend and I’m growing real feelings for and he knows it but I also just met another kid a few weeks ago and he’s the type I always wished I could find! I can’t date them both at the same time! How do I choose which one to go out with and spend time with KNOWING that I will likely lose the other? How do you pick when you don’t want to lose either but like them both?

Answer: Although it seems difficult, but this is a good problem to have! You will want to make the “right” choice. Don’t feel pressured to choose too quickly. What you can do is get to know them both better as friends. Don’t rush the decision as to which to become romantic with. Give it some time and see who you like better–who you have more fun with, who you feel more comfortable with, and who treats you the best. Listen to your gut. Choose that guy. Hopefully, it will be pretty clear. Good luck!
