Sarah Taylor is a meditation teacher and a Master Level Reiki Practitioner, as well as an actor, comedian, and writer.
Drawing from a Buddhist background as well as the other non-dual spiritual traditions, her classes and talks are accessible and filled with humor.
She was a series regular for three seasons on NBC’s “In Gayle We Trust”, can be seen in the comedy feature, “The Golden Scallop” and has made appearances on Hot In Cleveland, Bunheads, and numerous other TV shows and films. She’s also the creator of The Divine Mess Show, a live, touring comedy show that includes a guided meditation with Reiki energy.
Sarah’s been seen on stages all over the world from The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to The Volksbuhne Theatre in Berlin, and other places along the way including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and delicious Dijon, France.
Variety calls her “stunningly good”, Backstage West says she’s “glorious”, and The Chicago Reader finds her “impressive” and “mercurial”, which might just be a nice way of saying she’s moody.
She has performed at all the top comedy clubs including The Improv, The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, and many other venues that serve fried food and charge a two-drink minimum.
Sarah leads healing and meditation groups, and is a sought-after speaker at companies, colleges, and events like TEDx, bringing her light-hearted and compassionate approach to meditation and transformation. She believes spirituality doesn’t have to be solemn business and aspires to spark true awakening in people by igniting our ability to laugh, lighten, and be in more flow.
