Question: How do you get a guys attention when they don’t even know you exist? We don’t share any classes or groups together. We aren’t even on the same bus or know any of the same friends. I just see him in the halls and want to get to know him.

Answer: This can be a challenge! The first step is to capture his attention by using eye contact and smiling.

When you walk by in the hall, look right at him, and give him a big smile. Do this several times when you see him. Then start saying hello and try to start a dialogue from there.

If this doesn’t work, perhaps you can try and see if there is a way to get to know some of his friends so that they could introduce you or invite you out.

Is he involved with any school activities that you can join? Do whatever you can to get to know him and get in his circle.
