Passion + Purpose = World Change Step 1 by Marcy Morrison

Step 1 Falling in Love with You

Who are you? Why are you here? What is the difference that you want to make in the world?

What is your Passion + Purpose = World Change Formula?

Wow! Those are some big questions and such important ones to ask yourself. And why is that? From what I have found from being a career and life coach for over 10 years is that the happiest people I have come across are the ones that have the answers to these questions and are either living or actively on their way to living their passion and purpose and are making a difference in their community/the world.

If you want to be inspired, below is a video of high school students in San Diego, where I live, who are sharing their passion and purpose when I spoke to them at a Youth Success Week in February 2017.

I know that finding your passion and purpose can see overwhelming to figure out when you are a teen, so how do you break it down into manageable steps and develop a road map to get to living your dreams?

Well, let me share the steps from my two books – “Falling in Love with Me: A Personal Journey and a Guide to Falling in Love with You” and “Finding Your Passion: The Easy Guide to Your Dream Career.”

Step 1 – Fall in love with who you are right now
Step 2 – Take the time to discover who you are – your passions, what you love to do, what you are good at and what difference you want to make in the world
Step 3 – Believe in yourself and trust your gut
Step 4 – Build a support team
Step 5 – Develop your vision of where you want to go and how you want your whole life to look
Step 6 – Create a strategy/steps to get to living your dream
Step 7 – Network
Step 8 – Support others in uncovering and living their dreams

Clearly it is too much to cover in this one article to go through each step, so we will focus on falling in love with you for this article and will focus on the other steps in future articles.

The first thing I want you to do is to start a “Falling in Love with You” journal.

What I have found from my own journey and from helping so many people is that often we are searching for our happiness outside of ourselves. However, the key is to love ourselves right now and know that we are enough.

To start in your “Falling in Love with You” journal, I would like you to answer the following questions:

1. Can you see that you are enough right now? How are you enough right now?

2. What do you love about yourself right now?

3. What are you proud of right now?

In the following months, we are going to go deeper into how to fall in love with you and also continue through the following steps to uncover and live your Passion + Purpose = World Change formula.

I am excited to be on this journey with you.

Wishing you much joy,

Marcy
