Consistent Hard Work!
“Success isn’t always about ‘greatness’. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work gains success. Greatness will come.” @TheRock
I don’t always sit down and talk to giants…but when I do…it’s usually Danny Schayes!
Danny is a very, very large man. He made me feel smaller than I actually am which isn’t easy to do!
What a great conversation we had though. We got connected awhile back through a girl who lived on my little island in Alaska and have been buds ever since. He has a great family, is full of knowledge and loves to tell a good story!
Danny has lived it! He had a long NBA career and has so many stories about people who I grew up idolizing…one of them being Pistol Pete! The stories were unreal and I enjoyed hearing them!
It’s not often you get to spend time with someone who has as unique of life experiences that Danny does and I was very thankful to pick his brain on a variety of topics. A lot can be learned for young and old alike in this weeks episode of Think Like a STAR!
You are going to enjoy this one!
In the full episode, you will learn:
- why consistency is so critical
- how to overcome obstacles
- why it’s good to be uncomfortable sometimes
- why nothing can replace hard work
