Derek Hart

TheTeenMentorDerekHartDerek HART is a Relationship Coach, Speaker, Writer, and the founder of UnderstandEachOther.com. He has been counseling people since 1990, with over 27,000 hours in experience. The unique experience he brings to his counseling practice is based upon years of doing his own deep inner work.

A student and teacher of the human journey, Derek has continually studied the great works of the top psychology and spiritual masters of our time. Through the years of honing his skills, he has come to some great conclusions about the experience of the couple. The knowledge and wisdom of his teachers, combined with the courage and vulnerability of his couples, gives him a unique perspective on how to rapidly move a couple through their distress, back to connection.

Now, after a great amount of contemplation, Derek will be translating these experiences to the written form, the audio form, and the video form. Through the showing of the real work done with couples, he will explain what is happening, and we will benefit as we apply these concepts to our life.

Derek believes that the witnessing of how a couple truly heals can rapidly teach us how to do this for ourselves. Theory and thinking alone are not enough. We need to do more than gain some insight. We need to experience what others are going through, learn from it, and bring that insight inside. When you learn from others, when you apply that learning: that is wisdom.
